As part of Heritage Open Week we will be staging a s’TEA’m Party at the Windermere Jetty and it is hoped as many boats as possible will attend.
The program is basically that boats will arrive at the Jetty from 2.00 pm onwards and have Afternoon Tea in the dock—provide or buy your own—demonstrating the Winder-mere Kettles. At 3.15 pm approximately when SL Osprey leaves for her last steam of the day we will follow her out and accompany her round Bowness Bay. After that boats are free to continue round with her and return to the Jetty or to disperse back to their berths.
Edwardian/Victorian dress for the event is desired but not compulsory. Boats will not be decorated.
If you are interrested in this event and will be attending or would like further information please contact Dot Bullough on r.bullough375@btinternet.com.
