This week see the return of our workshop volunteer team to restart restoration work on Medway Queen under the working constrictions imposed by the Coronavirus pandemic.

I very much hope that there will be further news regarding restoration and maintenance of the ship in the very near future and, of course, we are working towards a public reopening and the resumption of ship tours. More on that as soon as we can.
We have also identified a need for more volunteers to organise, raise funds and administer these activities. In some ways less exciting that dealing with the fabric of the ship herself but equally important and rewarding in their own way. If we are to “bounce back” from the recent setback we need more fingers on keyboards whether as trustees or volunteer helpers. Anything you can do to help in that search would be appreciated.
