Steam Boat Register Update

A new version of the Steam Boat Register is being developed to replace the current one, which is increasingly becoming difficult to maintain due to obsolete software. The development version may be found at https://register.steamboatassociation.co.uk/. It accesses a copy of the existing register, so any experimental changes you make will not affect the live database.

Currently, anyone can edit the data on the development version, but this will eventually be restricted to the boat owner (whose email address is in the boat's record, but not visible to others) or administrators.

If you want to update the live Register, please go to https://steamboat.org.uk/register.php. Changes made there will eventually be incorporated in the new version.

The new version is incomplete, and may contain elements which do not work. It will be updated from time to time.  Features not yet included are

- Edit Pictures
- Creation of new record
- Search on fields other than the boat's name
- Download records as pdf

You can log in using your email address. This will send you an email with a link. This method of verification confirms you as having access to that email and will allow you to edit records containing that email.
