Friday June 16th - Monday June 19th 2023

(With options for individuals to extend should they wish)

We will once again be based at the well-appointed Mylor Yacht Harbour .The event will coincide with the Falmouth Classics and Sea Shanty Festival .

We have been invited to participate in the parade of classic boats on the Sunday .

Although this gives us the opportunity to spend time admiring the fine collection of vessels and enjoying the vast number of Bands and singers performing, the down side is accommodation will be even more difficult to find than it was this year . Anybody considering attending should arrange accommodation ASAP.

Entry for the event will be on the club website in September, but please make sure you have somewhere to stay before booking . There will be fees to pay as we are once again dealing with commercial organisations.

Information on Falmouth Classics and Sea Shanty Festival

Classic sailing vessels. Pilot gigs. Motor boats. Traditional craft. And everything in between. That’s what you’re going to see – e – in Falmouth’s waters when the Falmouth Classics boat festival sails into town in 2023.

This ultra-popular classic sailing festival, which began way back in 1987 and has grown to become one of the UK’s largest, features races out on the water, as well as some spectacular parades, including the Parade of Classic Boats and the Small Classic Boat Parade. Expect the area to come alive with the sight of taught jibs and the sound of clanging rigging set against a host of fab shore-side events, just as it did during the incredible three-day 35th edition of the fest out on the waves in June 2022.

Falmouth Sea Shanty Festival

People travel from all over the world to visit Falmouth International Sea Shanty Festival so planning ahead is crucial for some of our visitors. Book time off work and come and enjoy the sun, sea, atmosphere and music at the Shanty Festival in Falmouth, Cornwall. Festival dates are as follows:
